Can you install my lighting for me?

Yes we can! We have a licensed master electrician on staff who can install one fixture or entire house lighting.

How many different wood species to you offer?

We offer oak, maple, hickory, cherry, walnut, as well as Thermofoil cabinetry.

I need to purchase hardware and accessories for my new space, what are my options?

Downeast Kitchen Design has many options for you to choose from, including an exciting concept in Whole House Lighting from Today’s Design House, Northeast Lantern, Kitchler, Murray Feiss, and Quoizel, just to name a few. The process is simplified by choosing a hardware finish, such as brushed nickel, satin nickel, oil-rubbed bronze, for example, and then you choose lighting, hardware, knobs, etc in that finish so your entire house matches!

What about flooring?

We offer an extensive array of flooring choices from hardwood, laminate, tile, cork, carpet and vinyl. Offering our clients the best in sustainable products is very important to us and we have many exciting lines to offer. Best of all, we install it for you – taking the guesswork out of finding a reputable installation contractor. This allows us the ability to schedule the contractors and subs who will be working on your project, allowing the installation to go smoothly so you can start enjoying your updated space.

What brand of cabinets do you offer?

We offer Wellborn Cabinet Inc. cabinets. We also offer vanities and accessories from Today’s Design House, many with granite counters and sinks.

What kind of countertops do you offer?

We are pleased to offer our clients a wide variety of countertop surfaces including granite from The Granite Shop with over 4,000 slabs to choose from, Corian, concrete, tile, Formica, Silestone, and butcher block.

Where are you located?

You can find us at 10 Acadia Way, just off Route 1 in Ellsworth. Go past Morrison Chevrolet, we are up on the hill at Acadia Way.
